There’s a desk that looks an awful lot like Mr. Roarke’s desk in Naughty Marietta (1935) (of all places!) at about 59:06, but upon further investigation, I don’t think they’re the same desk. The gold box also looks similar, but again, is not quite the same.

Supposedly, there was a Fantasy Island TV movie in 2002 with Malcolm McDowell playing Mr. Roarke 3 years after the 1998 series ended.
