My god. The hours spent back in the day trying to achieve exactly this.
The first time Micky told the “Randy Scouse Git” story, I was like ha ha, that’s cute.
The second time Micky told the “Randy Scouse Git” story, I was like oh, I’ve heard this joke before.
The third time Micky told the “Randy Scouse Git” story, I was like ugh, enough already.
But maybe around the eighth or ninth time, I went from being annoyed by the “Randy Scouse Git” story to loving the “Randy Scouse Git” story, and it’s now gotten to the point where I am legitimately annoyed when he doesn’t tell the story.
I just realized this is exactly how I feel about Data defining things.
If I suddenly learned that like song titles aren’t meant to be in quotation marks, but they’re actually meant to be italicized, and I’ve been doing it wrong all this time, my god.
