1×14 “King for a Day/Instant Family”
A man pretends to be Prince Ludlow for a weekend after Count Myron assassinated the real Prince Ludlow.
Another one of Spock’s secret sisters thinks she’s going for a job interview, but she ends up babysitting for the weekend instead.
Waaaah, I think I’m gonna get a lot of use outta this Roarke blinking gif.
Roarke: Mr. Ernie Miller, a plumber from Topeka, Kansas, simply wants to live like a king.
Tattoo: A plumber who wants to be a king? Boss!
Roarke: And that is precisely what he shall be this weekend. Though I am not certain that his reign will be everything he expects…
lolol so this woman’s name is Gail Grayson, and her mom is Spock’s mom.
[Tattoo has a spinning bowtie.]
Tattoo: How do you like my new thing, boss? Isn’t it funny?
Roarke: Oh, it’s a regular laugh riot, Tattoo.
I have never heard the term “laugh riot” used by anyone except Mike Nesmith.
waaah Roarke and Tattoo in a grocery store is just completely not something I ever expected would happen and I love it???
Laaame, that’s not the usurper.
The woman Tattoo is dancing with is wearing a pink dress with a criss-cross haltery top, and I’m pretty sure that same dress has shown up a few times now.
The old king looks exactly like him? lolol so this is “Prince and the Paupers”.
Just say it’s Russia, omg.
Gail Grayson: And they were fascinated.
Why doesn’t the mom stay with the two kids while Gail goes out and looks for the other kid?
Lorelei Block: Something is wrong with Igor! Maybe he knows that Herbie is dead!
This woman is really bad at falling. The acting in this story in general is ridiculous, and I love it.
The Queen: ~You may kiss my hand.~
So this dining room where the king is having this party is apparently in Roarke’s house too. Ooh, I like these little green chairs.
Aww, this was a good episode. Both stories were good. And I don’t quite know why, but I feel like I actually buy this love story for once, and that never happens.
